eLists By Topic
Below a partial list of SCA-specific group email lists which our visitors may find useful. There's something here for just about everybody, but if this directory does not suffice check out SCA-related lists at Yahoo! Groups and Google Groups.
Descriptions: The descriptions of the lists included below are mostly just copied directly from the groups' respective websites and should not be construed as being representative of the opinions of either the College of St. David or its web minister. In many cases, paraphrasing or only an excerpt was used.
Potential new members of any group email list should go visit the URL listed for its site and carefully read the complete description before joining.
Omissions: What you will not find in this directory are lists created exclusively for SCA households, fighting units, BoD members/committees, independent committees, royalty, courtiers, specific events, regional groups outside the Kingdom of the West, or members of a particular order. Also, many lists were not included due to low-membership numbers and/or insufficient email traffic.
Discussion groups on topics pertaining to sex, religion, or politics have been deliberately excluded from this directory, on the grounds that inclusion may falsely imply sanction or promotion of one or more groups or lifestyle choices over any others by the SCA or the College of St. David.
